Honey-Mustard Chicken Campfire Sandwiches
These Honey-Mustard Chicken Campfire Sandwiches are a quick and delicious lunch that can be enjoyed while camping or in the comfort of your own home! The sandwiches are prepared and then wrapped in foil before being warmed up over a campfire, bbq or home oven. They are packed with deli-sliced chicken, provolone cheese, tangy honey-mustard and crunchy fried onions - a flavor combination sure to please the crowds. These Honey-Mustard Chicken Campfire Sandwiches can be made in advance, whether you are taking them up to the woods or just preparing an at-home meal in advance. These were a hit at our house for some recent Backyard Camping!
The ingredients are so simple - hamburger buns, sliced deli chicken, fried onions, honey mustard and provolone cheese. I initially wanted to try something fancier, but I'm glad I kept it simple. The flavors worked perfectly together. Perfectly!
And foil. Don't forget the foil!
I wrap the sandwiches up in groups of three...
And then wrap them together to form a long roll.
After heating up for 20 minutes {flipping 1x halfway through cooking}, the sandwiches can be unwrapped and served. So easy, delicious and fun to make!

2 Divide honey mustard, chicken, cheese and fried onions over hamburger buns.
3 Stack 3 of the sandwiches together, wrap in foil. Repeat with remaining 3 sandwiches. Then wrap all sandwiches together in foil so that they form a “log”.
