These Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies are a perfectly delicious way to #SpreadCheer this holiday season. They are soft, chewy and loaded with miniature chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies. And to make them even sweeter - they are an absolute cinch to make!
One of the best ways to spread holiday cheer is with delightful baked goods, made with love. I came across these FREE Cookie Gift Tags on the Betty Crocker site and was inspired to whip up some goodies to share with loved ones. I've already made a couple batches of these Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies this season and thought they would be the perfect choice for cookie gifts. One taste of these tasty little creations will have you thinking about a winter wonderland - perfect! My kids love to help me bake/cook in the kitchen, so this was a great time to spend some time together while getting ready to #SpreadCheer.
We packaged the cookies in store-bought treat bags, tied them with Christmas ribbon and attached the free printable cookie tags from Betty Crocker. Oh my goodness - how adorable! I also printed up these cute "Your Cheer is Here!" cards, a fun encouragement to #SpreadCheer with baked goods this season, to give along with the cookies. We grabbed the cookies and cards and headed out to #SpreadCheer in our neighborhood, to let our neighbors how much we appreciate them! Not only do our neighbors get to enjoy holiday sweet treats, but it was also a great reminder to the kids that the holidays are about giving and not receiving.
Make sure to check out the Betty Crocker #SpreadCheer page, it's loaded with free printables and festive sweet recipes for this holiday season.
I've been using a lot of Betty Crocker products this holiday season - they take so much time out of baking, leaving more time for other holiday fun. Walmart has a fun little "baking center" set up in the grocery section of the store that is packed full of Betty Crocker cookie and cake mixes, frostings and more. It was hard to refrain from buying it all - at once. ;)
